Enjoy a unique experience and highlight of the Shetland Accordion and Fiddle Festival. The Grand Dance held within the Clickimin Leisure Complex, the only venue in Shetland big enough to accommodate the size of the event. The Grand Dance is a formal dance and consists of 7 hours of nonstop traditional Scottish Dancing with 12 of the world’s best Shetland and Scottish Dance bands.

A truly unique experience not held anywhere else in the country the Grand Dance attracts hundreds of guests enjoying the very best in Traditional Dance music and Dancing.

A dance programme detailing which bands are performing what dance is available prior to the event. Dances include Boston Two Step, St Bernards Waltz, Eightsome Reel, Dashing White Sergeant, Lomond Waltz, Strip the Willow to name but a few.
