Festival Hub Pass

5th-8th October 2023, 11:00am - 4:00pm, FESTIVAL HUB - Islesburgh Community Centre
Adult £20 / £18 conc

The Festival Hub is the centre of the Shetland Accordion and Fiddle Festival.  The Hub is based in the Islesburgh Community Centre and is truly unique.  As a former School, the now community centre, could not be better designed to accommodate the Hub than this.

The Festival Hub Access Pass allows access to the Festival Hub for the entire Festival (Thurs – Mon) and allows pass holders to attend the free music performances and sessions held throughout the day and into the early hours.

The Hub features the Festival Shop, Main Hall featuring a stage with near constant live music, session rooms for impromptu music sessions, a bar, a café as well as ample space for socialising and mingling with musicians and other pass holders.

There is a full programme of music available to pass holders scheduled during the day following the official opening at 1pm on Thursday, again on Friday afternoon and on Saturday there is a free Youth Concert followed by an afternoon of music in the main hall.

The Festival Hub is open until the very early hours and many people return there after attending one of the many rural concerts to enjoy the lively Hub late night sessions. It is importantly a place where people come together and socialise, join in sessions, dance or just simply soak up the unique Shetland Accordion and Fiddle Festival atmosphere.

Please Note: Separate Tickets must be purchased to attend the Concert/Dances held at the Hub on Thursday and Friday nights as well as the Sunday afternoon Final Hub Concert. Access to the main hall during these events will be for ticket holders ONLY.
