The Shetland Accordion and Fiddle Club annual Tune competition is for unpublished compositions in traditional Shetland or Scottish idiom presented in manuscript form.

The Annual Tune competition has the following categories of awards:

Over 19 years – Willie Hunter Trophy

Under 19 years – Allan Bruce Memorial Trophy

Best Slow Air – John Jamieson Memorial Shield

Composers must either be resident in Shetland or Shetland born composers residing out with Shetland.

Entries open Friday 9th January 2026 and close on Friday 20th February 2026
